ahhhh... hes cutting steel and all he cares to safeguard are his ears?? silly man.. anyway he seems to relaxed. the picture seems to be lacking some action.. ooh ooh sparks might look cool...

Images in this challenge have lacked people as subjects. We seem to have forgotten that all the big machinery, all the big factories and everything else need people to make them work. Your image stuck a much better balance.

This is industrial and the person adds to the photo. If the room light was less the background would be lost.

ouch, no safety glasses...
I like the dynamics of the spinning lathe, perhaps if you used the frame of the machine as a horizon line it might be a stronger image. I think having the worker intently bend to his labor would work.
