I took this picture on a frosty morning. I cropped the pictures to remove signs of the ugly signpost the web was hanging of and I didd some limited editing in photoshop. I increased to contrast just a touch, removed some of the yellow tint and added some extra blue to make the general appearance colder.

Interesting subject. I like the tones here. One thing I'm curious about, it looks like there are pieces falling (not attached to anything). Were the details lost in the light?

Wow, I live in the desert so I hardly see ice, especially like this. Great picture.

4 - Good potential. Criticism; don't think you have captured the full potential of this opportunity, maybe because it is a camera/lens dependent issue - but a workaround may have produced something that gave this a little extra. Perhaps perspective/angle slightly different, a different crop, composition, tweaking of colors/contrast, not sure. Can't recall ever seeing a shot of an orb web with frost like this on it, which just makes me 'want' to be able to see more detail in the frost particles even more. Perhaps a macro from a 'right under' or 'close to center and straight down' (really sharp angle) may have made this extra special. edit:typos

Amazing work of architecture...like the overall feel of the image alhough contrast could have been a little stronger

This image has great potential. I woul dlike it a lot better if the center of teh web fell in the upper right 3rd of the frame. The tones are fantastic! I give it an 8.
