to my eye, a stronger contrast (darker darks) would make a big improvement to this image. I kind of like it, though.

I like the angularity here, but the top 1/5 of the frame is 'dead' space', I think it would work better cropped close to the horizontal line of the white pipes.

perhaps if you cropped the top 1/3 off it might have given the re-bar a little more focus
