Challenge: Collections (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ20
Location: Karachi. Pakistan.
Date: Nov 25, 2005
Aperture: 2.8
ISO: 80
Shutter: 4 sec
Galleries: Black and White
Date Uploaded: Nov 25, 2005

Just arranged the DVDs on a table, used a flashlight and a 4 second exposure. Did not do any white balance so there was an orange cast in the original.

- Ran it through Neat Image.
- Levels to correct underexposure.
- Rotated.
- Cropped.
- Used Channel Mixer to desaturate. I hope that is allowed ;-)
- Contrast.
- USM.
I guess that was it. Not it that order though.

I would love to see this in color. I like the set up. How many times did you knock them over.

I guess I just don't think DVD's are very interesting as a subject.

The white glow at the back is off-putting.

Not a bad concept, but I find the glow in the back and the irregular gray streaks (shadows?) in the background to be very distracting. I find myself looking for the source of the glow to make sense out of it.
