One of the few times I disagree with scoring, I think it should have made the top 5

Thank you all for your wonderful comments(23 so far my personal best) and let me tell you how this photo was made(yep,in basic editing):

First of all I took a last year photo made on film at the seaside of the Black Sea. Using the scissors and a cutter I cuted out myself very precisely, takeing care of the little details as u can see.
Then comes the egg part:I cracked an egg, emptyed the content, cleaned it and finaly fixed the cutout in the shell. The rest is history.Just set up the shot finding the best ligth direction for the shadow effect.
PhotoshopCS2 edit: autolevels, brightness set to +10,contrast set to +5,cropped,resized,saved for web, after that applied neat image plugin and final save.

Thank u all again.....still looking forward to break the top 10 though.

George.

Lol. Very interesting. Eggs on your picture I guess but probably not that simple. Fun to see an image not eggactly like the others. Good luck on this. -8-

Amazing shot.

Good out of the box thinking. Grey layout. The eggs could have been a bit sharper/more contrast. Otherwise high marks.

Interesting technique you've used here. I'm sure a lot of others have said the same. This shot contains a lot of originality and I thought it was a rather well thought out shot. Especially not forgetting the shadow details. An odd picture indeed. If this were placed in the Illusions challenge, this is almost guaranteed the top 20 spot, at least in my head. Hopefully you'll also get a top 20 spot, if you wish on this Odd challenge.
I think it's cut out, none the less, job well done, but I gave a 7 on this because I personally feel like the picture lacks another sort of emotion, it's a bit plain. It just could be I'm attracted to bright colours though.

Original. This may lead to years of analysis.

This is very well executed. It is almost perfect. As you probably know the angle left arm (on the right side of the photograph) looks as though it is going behind the entire egg rather than coming out of the egg. But, When it's good, it's good. 9

fresh ranch eggs, mmm. (it's a cute idea, but the shadows detract from the illusion.)

Hahahaa! That looks cool! how did you do that? I like the shadows of the eggs. They're very interesting... Some of the eggs have a tiny bit of glare, which is a bit distracting, but I still like the picture. Good Job!

Can this be done in basic editing? Great focus on the eggs and I'd like to give it points for originality of the idea, but I'm not sure.
