Contrary to a couple comments, the original picture IS in focus (look at the rock), and the ducks are sharp and clear. I'm thinking it may look a little soft because I used a pretty poor-quality lens (all I can afford at this point). I think I may have used a slight unsharp-mask, but I do not like the look of over-sharpened images (which there are plenty of on this site). All the same, the comments are helpful. Cheers.

Both single legs are great, but more head/face would help.

Two birds and one stone eh? I bet I am not the first to say that. Great shot, the sunlight is prefect.

I really enjoy the clear reflection of the ducks on the surface of the water, as well as the gradient of the green colored water. The calm & simple background helps the viewer focus clearly on the subjects. Personally, I would crop a bit more on the bottom of the picture.

This would have been so cool if it had been in focus.

Nicely composed photo.
I always feel so sorry for animals who have to drink what looks like really unhealthy water!
