I snapped this photo while paddling on Duxbury Harbor in the wee hours of the morning. In complete contrast to the choppy water I was crossing, the sense this scene presented was one of serenity. I imagined I was watching the sun rise behind cactus in an Arizona desert while being tossed around in my kayak.
