 DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME !

this bulb was wired directly to - well wires - which were pushed up through two seperate holes in a piece of wood. the contraption was such as to allow the holder to turn the bulb on & off easily & safely.

550ex fired via ST-E2 away from bulb - flood light above and to the right.

i took the decpetive meaning of this challnege, and aimed to trick the viewer. not a new concept in my photos.

i hope you enjoy.

nicely composed with good colors. i would have liked to see the bulb's color go all the way down to the base...i keep getting distracted by the glimpse of uncolored bulb at the bottom.
