Ithink the lighting in this photo is very good, you have alot of detail in the hand and the cards lit very well. I like how you have the aspect of all the colors of chips in the photo that are avialable in poker. Great Still life shot to show this challenge.

like the still-life quality of this composition. really like the manly thumb ring! : )
the two things i'd like to see with this pic are:
popping the lighting up just a bit on the cards, and
either showing more or none of the white chips. the hint of chips makes it feel cut off.

There are a lot of poker shots -- but this is clearly one of the best. Easy to see the cheater aspect, very sharp and clean, very well compose. 10
