Doesn't communicate camouflage to me.

The shadows do make the birds seem like they're part of other things, but maybe this picture could've been cropped better. There's just too much background for my taste.

I guess I don't understand where the camouflage part fits

I like the pastel colors.

camoflauge?

This is a very nice shot, catching them all in flight was a very nice move. I love watching them take off and land, it's so pretty.

The shot is very nice overall, though your main subject, the birds take up a very small space they still draw you in by the dark outlines of their bodies and the reflections on the water. The one goose (I'm guessing they are geese) in the front middle seems pretty clear while every thing else is just a touch out of focus. That is a neat trick, nice DOF for that. My only complaint is the coloration of the sky, the yellow edge to the gray top, if you cuold have adjusted the levels or color balances or saturation to make it pop just a bit more this would probably have gotten a few extra points from me. But as is, a 6

Not only does it not meet the challenge. It's not a very good shot either.

As an example of natural camouflage this is not a very good shot, however as a demonstration of camouflaging your subject in reflections and background, its worth a 6

Lovely, still, moody shot - but I don't get the camouflage connection really.
