Went to the zoo and just stumbled across this, had to shoot though dirty glass thus the lines on the right.

Iguana take your picture. (sorry) Good example, but overhead lighting alone causes some unpleasant effects. Diffuse fill flash might have helped

What a shame he wouldn't look at you - this would have been perfect. Cropping a bit tighter at the top might have helped too.
