Next to Bahrain Fort is a tiny village of very old houses. Some months ago local artists were invited to decorate the exteriors of the houses with traditional Arabic designs. The result is a multi-coloured painted village. There were several choices for the theme of camouflage - painted water heaters, satellite dishes and garage doors among them. My favourite is this window.
