Challenge: Triptych (Advanced Editing IV*)
Camera: Canon EOS-20D
Lens: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
Location: Ramona, CA
Date: Nov 9, 2005
Aperture: 6.3
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200th
Galleries: Animals, Diptych / Triptych
Date Uploaded: Nov 12, 2005

Cloudy day on a farm shoot. No spot editing. Converted from Raw, contrast adjusted, a little warmth added, USM, drop shadow. Fortunately not much cropping, had shot to fill the frame, made it quick to create the three source images.

8 - Oh very good. Very good shots each. Criticism; colors on the white lab/retriever seem just slightly 'out', but difficult I am sure with these combinations. Very good use of triptych to display the three 'catches', and the 'story' for which your title is very good. Of course bigger - but you know that. I wonder if horizontally may have 'helped', but not sure. Also not sure on the 'shadow framing', or even on the choice of white as the background color, works, but I wonder if another color may have helped this be even better. Up to 8 from 7.

Awwwwww. . . .this is so sweet!!!! I love it. Technically, it may need to be a tiny bit less exposed -- or more contrast or something -- but I totally vote with my heart, so it gets a 10 from me. Good luck!

Good story! The top and middle images - especially the top - look a tad blown in the highlights. Also, a little more punch in the contrast might be nice. Don't mind my input though, because overall, I think this is a really nice challenge entry with exceptionally cute subjects.

HEE HEE HEE. The images seem a bit overexposed. I'd adjust curves and deepen the overall tones. CUTE shots though. Love those golden retrievers!
