Critique Club
This is definately one abstract, still trying to decide if it is black licorice or one of those recycled tire welcome mats. But I will go with licorice.
Your dof and focus seem very good here and there is a really wonderful texture, its the glare or points of highlight here that I don't like, they are just slightly too strong and make it appear to be more of just a macro of black licorice than a low key photo.
This was definately one of the orginal photos in this challenge and definately nicely done.

| this is a good study of abstract shapes and forms, and the contrast is good for this type of photography, but i'm afraid the subject doesn't really do much for me. 6. |
