I know the feeling....I feel the same way. The score on my self-portrait proves I should stay "behind" the camera.

Love the contrast in this shot. Maybe tweak the "midtones" a little but the shadows and highlights are great!

you have nice eyes.. but it would be more interesting to have a different expression in your face.. maybe not look directly to the camera, another mood, etc..
