| It has a two dimensional feel to it for some reason. I'm not sure why, but the flatness does seem to detract from the image. I don't know how to fix that problem though. |

| Modest pretension to your title, however the eyes which are what you offer insist it may be so..... Terrific almost fully natural look to your face complemented by the light. A shallow focus is percptable. It is effective, and probably unavoidable and contributes to the candid image. |

I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? Yes....very expressive eyes
artistic/creativity? fair
Technical? Very good
Overall? I like this. Sharp focus on the eyes makes this stand out. Good job! |

| What's imperfect? Maybe the light and the focus could be improved a little, perhaps you could have zoomed out a little but all in all I think you have made a nice self-portrait. |
