Wow John, I knew by the live video feed as you shot that you were going to get something good... this even exceeds my expectations!
You can definitely see the improvement in edge sharpness in the later series, when it was higher above the horizon. We likely won't get seeing like that again soon. What a great coincidence that it happened on a weekend night near opposition... and moonless at that. |

| Funny, the rough outlines -- especially of the left photo -- closely resemble a satellite photo of the Horn of Africa/Arabian Peninsula area. |
