An abstract in the self-portrait challenge, that's impressive. I like this shot... surprisingly having the focual eye dead center works great. Not sure what that stuff in the foreground is, but it seems to work well.
I'm afraid the part I really like (images in the border) may be outside the rules... so I think I've gotta score as if that part didn't exist. 6 instead of 7 or 8, I guess. Sorry if this is being too pedantic--I'm pretty new to the site.
Nice! I've seen similar framing and cropping in some magazines recently and I think this is a great example. I really like the grainy feel. Not at all keen on border.
