 Hiking with friend when came upon pods opening up, which I thought looked like delicate feathers. Beautiful fall day for walking at park.

beautiful shot...brings back memories of my childhood. Every time i saw one of these my mom would stop the car....when safe....and let me get out and break these open....what a wonderful time!!! Thank you...

Nice picture. Like the blur of the background but the color of the background blends into the foreground and makes it distracting from the subject. Cropping would be the only thing I could suggest to minimize that. I do like the detail with the seeds, very strong there.
