Every time I go to comment on this, I get distracted and end up not doing it. It's popped up like 5 times now, so I HAVE to get this in. lol The only thing that I notice is that the focus on your eyes looks a bit soft, where the left of the photo (your right) seems to be the crispest. Probably lighting? Overall though, I think it's an excellent self portrait and shows personality as well as detail. Nice to meet you. ~Heather~

Ummm I know this face :-) Good one, nice lighting. The very slight tilt of the head towards the light works well.

I love how the light creates such great contrast on your hair! It's a shame that that same range of tones is not as present on the "darker" side of your face.

I really like the strong light from the side, with the delicate shadows over your face. Great use of b/w. You look a little forlorn.

I didn't know Kieffer Sutherland was a member of DPC! ;) And with Tom Hanks as a pet, that's quite a fame-filled household

You got the lighting just right for this mood that matches your face. Very nicely done. This photo is true to the rules it has set for itself and I think reveals you nicely! 9

I think a portrait should reveal some character, or emotion of the model, by showing expression in eyes or other facial features. Did your picture accomplish that? yes

artistic/creativity? fair

Technical?fair

Overall?good one showing an intensity and seriousness. Interesting lighting but a bit blown out on the side of your neck.

I like how the light hits the spikes on your hair, it contridicts the more somber tones in your face.
