Was playing round trying to get a photo of Cody drooling.....not hard when it's a retriever, though he couldn't ever look like Cujo!!

Lots of editing trying to add grain!!
Levels, selective colour, desat with channel mixer, artistic film grain, bas relief (soft light mode), boosted contrast, more film grain, contrast filter, sepia tones using image adjustment variations (note to self...must learn more about using duotones!) curves, levels, sharpened edges. bit more contrast and added some neutral tones with selective colour.

Had a lot of fun playing with this.....great idea for a challenge!

one of my favorites this challenge -- wish the backgroud was a bit less obvious - such a great face :)

I have this happen to me all thei time, the nose is in focus, but the eyes aren't - I hate my camera when it does that - although mine are usually deer - a little harder to get them to hang around while I fiddle with DOF issues. Looks like a great dog, and a nice photo too

Makes you want to stroke him/her. Might have looked better if the background was faded away/blurred/blackened out or something.

You know, usually the pet pictures don't do it for me....but this one's pretty nice! Very cute dog and I think that this shot works pretty well with the image grain. Good lighting and detail on the dog :-)
