This is a recent view of NYC skyline on the summer solstice (6/21/2005,)

* This is a composite of 4 images taken on 6/21/2005
* Each image was shot at F4.5 and 1/1s
* The focal length was 70 mm
* Shot on an Olympus e-1 with a 54 mm - 200 mm zoom lens with a 1.4 telephoto coupler.
* The original image is 24” by 6” and is available in that and 48" x 12"
* At the far left on the water is the Concord SST which is on a barge just to the left of the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum.
* At the far right is the blue and white tower of the Met Life building at 23rd street.
* The main street just to the left of center is 42nd Street.
* The bright glow on the left side of the image is from the bright lights of Times Square the center of the world of entertainment.
* Just to the right of center is the unmistakable Empire State Building at 34th street.
Wonderful stuff. Sorry I am not a buyer, but having flown into NY thousands of times, and photographed the city from the Jersey side, albeit not of this quality, Ivery much appreciate your work.
