 Editing Details:


rotated to straighten horizon and cropped
shadow/highlight
auto colour
auto levels
auto contrast
cloned out a few branches
coming out of right frame
-bumped up saturation on master
and adjusted hue
- used sponge tool at 30% to saturate bottom
- burned sky to bring out clouds
- sharpened
- added noise filter (monochrome)

Comment: I waited until the right day to get this shot, raining and misty as I have always thought the fall colours remind me of the very flames that once burned this part of tthe swamp. The grain applied to me represents the ash. I hope you enjoy it.

This is very dramatic. I love it! It has a desolate look to it, but the beautiful colors on the ground give it punch and pop. This would make a really nice framed print on a man's office wall -- or a masculine living room. Beautiful job!

Interesting picture. very desolate. The grain just seems to mask and gray it out. I don't see it adding to it.
