Challenge: What? (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Location: Hollywood Hills
Date: Oct 16, 2005
Aperture: 7.1
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/125
Date Uploaded: Oct 17, 2005

This is a house in the Hollywood Hills which was ruined by mud slides I believe, but has been sitting like this for a few years now. I've always meant to take pictures of it and thought this might be a good challenge for it.

Post: just grayscaled and cropped.

the fence kind of takes away, but not too much. Overall a nice image

I like your use of black and white for this photo. I think it gives it a more dramatic effect. For me though, the fence is somewhat distracting as my eyes "peer" through it.

Neat, but fence is super distracting. Because of it, I can't really see or concentrate on the good aspects of your photo.

its an interesting scene, the whole fence thing distracts from what could have been a more powerful photo .

obviously it's a shame about the fence being in the way.
I like the black and white.
And I do wonder what happened there
