Challenge: Reflections Without Mirrors II (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S3500 Zoom

I decided to go for a surface that necessarly make a good reflection. The main focal point of the picture is desined to be the 50p coin, which (as i found) reflects light well.

I surrounded the 50 pence piece with 1p coins to add to the general picture and to add a little more content.

I then converted the pciture to B&W to add a little more effect and style (personally i think it looks better like this, althrouh less reflective). I changed the hue and satuation aswell until I gained my desired result.

I also added a little noise to smooth out the edges and make the picture flow better.

Im only starting out at this 'photography game', and so i used quite a cheap camera for this picture. But it came out better than i thouht it would so decided to submit it and see how it copes. Understandibly i don't think it will do too well.

(To end, i will be selling the 50 pence piece on ebay, startin at £1, so rab a bargin and get a coin that stared on the internet)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone, much appriciated, ill keep them in mind next time.

For those who say they can't see the reflection then i'd like to add that you therefore can't see. Every object has a reflection, liht is reflecting off of everyrthing and then into our eyes. Its the only way we can see. So thewrefore this is the way i choose to interpret it, in theory i could of taken a picture of anythin because its still a reflection as it is reflecting light.

But thanks aain for voting and for everyones constructive comments (and on second thoughts i agree, its a bit too briht)

this picture feels like it is a bit overlit to me.

Nice concept, but might it have looked a little more impressive if you'd polished up the 50p a bit?

Where's the reflection?

Interesting picture. Great looking coins but its not very reflective. The background is a bit bright too.

Very minor reflections... perhaps the upright coin, with the same coloured reflections, against a contrasting background would give more impact?

Yes, I see reflection and nice macro shot, but you must live in a dull (non-reflective) world if this is the most inspiring thing.

Very good and simple, but not much of a reflection though.

I don't see this as a reflection image

?

Other than a small strip of colour in the standing coin, I really don't see any reflections, and those reflections are not significant enough to meet the challenge (if they are even reflections).

Neat idea. I do think reflections should be more prominent though.
