Taken at the local Lion Club 50yr Celebration, Nicole leaping into the air with joy after winning the gumboot throwing competition.

Rotate, cloned back in the left upper edge of the image (note to self....keep the camera straight!) Levels, contrast/brightness, curves, sharpen, resize, usm.

Fun photo, good expression (and hangtime on her part). I find the bird on the grass a bit distracting, but it probably just wanted to have it's photo taken. :-) Nicely done.

Nice, two minor crits - the girls right hand is just cropped a little close to the edge. It feels to me as though it needs just a little more space around it.
Secondly if you had been able to get up just a little more then she wouldn't have broken the skyline with her head.

Its the little details which count.

cute shot! nice colors and dof. i wish there was more space on the left side of the shot to better frame your subject. the bird on the lawn is also a bit distracting. but the expression on her face is priceless...congrats to her!
