Congratulations Sigrún!!! The best of the bunch in my opinion!

Þetta var nú flottasta myndin að mínu mati, gaf henni tíu :) renndi yfir þetta í kosningunni og fann enga sem mér líkaði reglulega nema þessi :)

Good composition and crop, too bad for the legs above the woman at the top of the frame, perhaps a slightly less tight crop on the top would attach them to a body a little more (the one in the upper right corner is perfect). Like the motion blur on the woman walking, in contrast to the people sitting still at the table. Emotes the struggle between rushing and resting.

Good conversion to B&W, though color probably would have been good too... Maybe just a hair overexposed? (The highlights seem blown out on the cups and saucers on the table...)

Nice capture.

I really like the balance and textures in this shot. The only thing I'd change would be to remove whatever that is peeking in the frame at 12 o'clock. This is one of my top picks for a ribbon in this challenge.

I like the mood and tones in this, especially the grain in the wood. The shopping bag is a little distracting but I assume this is a candid shot.

Interesting perspective. Would love to see this in color to bring some life into the wonderful grains on the floor.

Excellent viewpoint. The lighting and composition are superb and the desaturation works, probably takes out a lot of horrible colours ;)
The moving person adds some mystery and the other chairs just edging into the frame help establish context. Not being able to see any of the faces means that we can make up any story we like for what's happening here. Really nice work. 9
10 on my second pass. Could be a favourite.

i really like the angles created by the body positions and how the outstreched arm and leg play off each other. i'm not sure about the 3rd person as it takes away from the symbiosis of the twosome...or maybe i just wanted to use the word symbiosis. i guess you sometimes have to just deal with the distractions if the right moment presents itself in your focal point. the table items do feel a wee bit oversharpened.

like the angle of the shot, like the action in the shot, like the composition! the lighting on the table (reflected in the plates) is a bit distracting at their current levels, though.
