| Great closeup of the beautifully patterned butterfly against the yellow flower. Unfortunate that the complementary colour to the green leaves would have been a violet-tinged red. If the leaves were more of a blue to blue-violet tone, this fine photo would also have demonstrated the complementary colour contrast. |

| Great capture, butterflies are usually so bad at posing. Wish it meet this challenge I would have scored it higher. |

| green, yellow and orange are all contrasting colors (side-by-side on the color wheel) and black is a shade, not a color. Complementary colors are across from each other on the CW. This is a lovely photo, however. |

| Nice images, but lacking Complementary colors. Yellow Complement is Purple, and Green's complement is RED. These are not complementary colors. |

| Orange - purple; yellow- blue; green- red. Hmmmmm I don't see those in combination here. Nice butterfly and rose, but this doesn't seem to meet the challenge to my way of seeing it. The DOF is well done. Maybe a tad tight on the side crops. |
