 Not really where I live, but where I feel very much at home. My aunt lives in the Jordaan and I visit her once in a while. This photo doesn't do the area justice, I just had little time to get something decent.
The light wasn't perfect either (-1.33EV exposure compensation to get the sky in). Bright sky, dark streets. So this is a blend of two RAW conversions from one and the same original RAW file. One was set at -0.50 and the other at +1.25. I blended those in PS with Fred Miranda's DRI.
The distortion is from using the 18-70DX at 18mm and this is already a corrected version (PT Lens).

its not a bad composition but all these con/diverging lines..mwahh
think the Jordaan deserves better than this upgraded snapshot..he
but (i hope it is ) the Westertoren... he is looking fine ;)
