I think this is a wonderful shot- very beautiful, I love the high contrast also, but mine never turn out quite right.

High contrast can sometimes be a worst enemy...but I feel you pulled it off very well here...the high contrast background blends in with your details...so it looks wonderful, great pose!

High contrast is great. Not a fan of selective desat, but I think this really pops as a high contrast bw.

Nice photo.

Its a matter of personal preference, but I'd like to see more color in your eyes--if you used brighter ambient lighting, or stared at a light, your iris will close up ... And a subtle smile would change the tone of the photo, but that may not be the emotion you're trying to show.
