 Taken at Powell Butte Park, the area used to have a pond where these things grew but with our pretty dry summer/spring there's no water! I liked the colors and shapes so I decided to photograph it.

This one has great texture and color. I hate to say it because of all the burning in this site, but I think the background could use a little. It also may work well in a high contrast black and white.
