 I'm starting to feel a little more confident in my challenges. I have totally loved this site and the way I am striving to get better - there are some great photographers here!

I am an Aussie working in California and even though flags back home are most definitely not a common thing, I figured I would fit in here a little better if I "flew the flag" :) So - to remind me of home I have some things around, generally in the corner, that let me do that.

The photo was taken with a high ISO (more mistake than planned), a speedlite off the ceiling and backlit by a lamp. I did a touch of burning to make the colours of the flag nice and rich. Framed as is from the camera.

I think this one fits a little more than my previous challenges so I'm hoping I can improve my scores a little.
