Challenge: From the Ground Up II (Basic Editing III)
Collection: Challenges
Camera: Canon EOS-20D
Lens: Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM
Location: Yard - San Diego CA
Date: Sep 26, 2005
Aperture: f/5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/6400sec
Galleries: Sky, Nature
Date Uploaded: Sep 27, 2005

No big on sunrise/sunsets but when I got home last night the sky was fabulous.

No Dodging or Burning, this is what the sky looked like. The clouds allowed rays through at the same time as casting shadows. Took it at a fast shutter to darken it in the camera. Levels/Curves and Contrast in Canon Digital Photo Professional.

I was shooting airplanes coming out of Miramar and that is the only reason I had the 70-200mm on the cam...could have got a lot more with the 28-75mm or my 17-35mm. Still I liked the way this looked.

Oh, my god: amazing. I can feel the warmth, and it's like 60 degrees (F) in this room. I'd love an 800X600 copy to use as my wallpaper.

Beautiful photograph. Love the way the rays shine out. It looks a little bit weird though that the top of the photograph is blue and orange down.

Coverage down to earth may give a more complete view. I like the cloud ray shadows and the contrast and colors.

Wow... is this the raw picture, or have you used lighting and everything on this.

where is the ground? Never mind, I see I as usual interpreted the shot differently that most.

Whoa. Stunning capture.....absolutely breathtaking....fantastic! I love the contrast of the deep blue in the upper right, the deep red in the lower left, the black silhouettes and the white sunburst....wow.
