Challenge met. Cool concept. Flames are hard to photograph because they always blow out, this one is borderline, but I guess you couldn't have reduced the shutterspeed more, you would've lost the rest of the image. I really like the wick coiling through the container. Two things that I think would improve your photo are fully centering or moving the lamp further off-center and filling the lamp all the way with oil to remove the line where it currently ends.

Nice image. I like the effect that the dark lighting and the flame that helps make the image interesting. The only thing is that this photo doesnt have much clarity.

What a great idea, but why not work on the focus? It's very fuzzy
