this is a great idea for a shot. i think you probably could have seen a half to a full point improvement if you'd had a bit more light so that there would be more contrast between the subject and the background, and if you'd had opened up to about 5.6. that lens is so perfect for portraits, where you want a short dof, but for something like this, you'd want everything to be 'dpc-sharp'. keep it up! |

Hi, Bren! I'm glad to see that you're getting back into the swing of things, and glad to hear your life is settling down now. Hope your business plans with your husband are working out, too. Potentially a good shot. DOF seems a little shallow though. |

I like the idea. The bottle kind of fades into the dark background, so the detail is lost. This may have been intentional, but I think more detail may have made it stand out a little more. |
