I adjusted the levels and boosted saturation. A bit of USM was applied as well. Slight crop.

I had a hard time deciding on title. Alternates:

Good entry for the challenge criteria. Clearly USES the ROT and makes an example of it, not just a shot that is composed according to the rule. The sky is nice, the colors are vibrant, the focus is spot on, DOF great. I even like the black border. Great job!

Definitely rule of thirds, but not very interesting to me. ( I also think your border is too thick.)
