I tried everything to 'unwhite' his shirt, but even three stops wouldn't reduce it. The rest of the image was black except that glowing white shirt. I don't know how his wife does it, but she is good.

Anyway, I really like this. Reminds me of 'simpler' less stressful times. Met these guys at the dock while I was looking for locations for my destinations shoot (under this dock). They caught about 20 lbs of squirming catfish and let me take a picture of it. Really nice, they love fishing, and seem to do it every day. I wouldn't eat the fish as they are out of the Potomac but they have been doing it for years no worse for the wear and tear. Directly across from this dock is Mount Vernon, George Washington's home. They preserved this side of the river so tourists on the other side could see what George saw 200 years ago.

This is a nice shot, I like the sepia tones. I wish the whites weren't overexposed. Has that old fashion feel to it.

Well composed. Good use of thirds on the fishermen. Bridge works well at leading the viewer thru the image. Good choice of color treatment...natural color would have been overwhelming with the green trees - as you've done, the focus easily goes to the fishermen. Nice. Good luck on the challenge.
