My first in the top 20 and my first in the top 10% so I am very happy. Thanks for all the great comments on the picture - The flower is from my garden, and I took the picture early in the week and was very happy with it. I tried it without the border but it didn't work. Looked to get a gold coloured border, but eventually took the colour from the stamen in the middle of the flower.

It's a bit too high/centred for me,I'd have preferred a lower flower with more upper black negative space. But it's a lovely shot. Great quality.

I love the simplicity of this shot. I think to truly be a sympathy card, I might not have the bright yellow band around it though. Just my personal taste. THe clarity is spot on and the black background is perfectly utilized. Good one.
