Exposure compensation was 0.5 steps. Used an HQ setting in Landscape mode. Taken early in the morning. Post processing included hue and saturation adjustment to make colors richer, tonal adjustment in the blue scale, and sharpness adjustment. Resized and saved at 81% quality, which helped to make the image smoother.

A very distracting scene, perhaps it would have been best to crop significantly to focus on a particular section of this landscape. Doesn't illustrate the ROT as sharply as many other entries, instead it's just good composition...
Also sharpness is lacking and it's very hard to make out any particular detail.
Too bad you couldn't use a glow filter on this one - with the title and all. I like the old shack - it certainly suits the challenge criteria, but it lacks a little oomph. The colors are pretty and complimentary. Hmmm - I think it's the logs in the forground like your eye can't decide if it should rest there or on the building. The focus is good and it is a definitely well thought out effort.
