I didn't get to vote on this one, but I love the highlights on the branches. I think you've chosen the perfect time of day for this shot.

I thought of doing wind chimes too -you are right they make such "gentle tones." While I know that a tree is the appropriate place for the chimes, I find the background a bit distracting. maybe if you'd had an even smaller DOF or composed the shot with less big branches in the background? I like the way the feathery green of the leaves reminds me of the sounds of the chimes. The shadow that falls across the chimes is also distracting. I do like how the wind-catching part seems to be floating rather than hanging, it give a nice feel for the subject.

Windchime, very evocative. Nicely framed against the branches, good DOF. Too bad it's not a prettier windchime, although the weathered look is fine.

10 for concept, 8 for execution: 9 overall. :-> There's a strange overall red-brownness to it that I'm not sure how to quantify, but still, very good. I hear the photo (which is my major grading criteria for this contest), and it's an appealing image overall.
