 This shot took me FIVE HOURS. I have alot of respect for those of you who have taken pictures of lights, and had them turn out.

Me personally I don't like this shot. But it was the best of the 300 or so I took.

So if there is anyone that has any tips for me I would welcome them.

Lighting:
I tried going outside in the sunlight but it was way to bight so I move to the darker in door, but still using sunlight.

Was taken with shutter speed 250 and F8

Post
I croped it
took out the color
Burned the edges of the bulds
and added a border

I hope to at least get a 3 or better

This is an intelligently presented image that unfortunately passed under the radar in this challenge. It's a great idea and well executed. The bulb in the middle is just a bit too bright I think, but otherwise this image is very good. Its score is much lower than it should be.

Interesting take on the challenge. For me, I might have chosen a different background or something...not quite sure what (sorry, I'm not good with the technical stuff), but I like the concept and idea.

Seriously though... good shot, the shadows and texture of the background are a little distracting.

Should have zoomed out (or moved back) to show more of the bulbs. Good idea, though!
