 I was walking on the boardwalk at the beach and saw this mother and father trying to coax their little boy for a picture. Thought it looked cute. Didn't know what I had til I looked at it on the computer and saw the wave in the backround. It was really further away than it appeared.

Bumping up after second look. The waves and water seem a bit on the magenta or reddish side, but I like the lighting.

lovely candid shot. Is "mum" a DPC entrant for thirds too? would possibly cropped it slightly more on left.

The focus is on the toddler as all eyes are on him. I wonder if the woman really got it having her back turned towards a wave that large behind her. It would have been real nice if there was a way to make the wave more focal as it is the real point of interest in this picture.

Very funny. Nice placement of the boy's head at the intersection of thirds. Grouping of the parents sets the boy off also which is nice and adds to the drama of the situation. Title adds a lot to the context. Great candid photo!
