Another great portrait! As I've already said, she's very beautiful!

I prefer this one; I think because it gives better perspective of her color and head shape. Both are great.

Stunning as always. I'm not sure if I prefer one over the other because both are very, very nice! People like seeing the eyes right on though, so you probably went with the better "portrait" piece. This one has a fantatic pose, though, so both have their strengths in different places, but are great all the same.
One more thing, could you do me a favor and NOT be so good? You're making us other 17 year olds (ok JUST me) look terrible! ;-) Rock on.

Very nice! I like both this and your winning entry. I think your entry is a better fit for the generic concept of portrait, so I think you picked the right one (obviously)! (But this one is very very good, and stands on it's own!)

You took one of your friend quite a while ago that's still in your portfolio:

You'll have trouble ever "besting" that one. It's absolutely perfect in my book!

BTW - You are very lucky to have such a photogenic (and beautiful) friend and a willing model! And she is lucky to have such a good photographer for a friend!

Both are beautiful, I like her expression a bit better in this one, but I think that overall the other picture, the one you entered, has greater impact. I think you picked the right one to enter :) Congratulations on your ribbon.

Both shots are really excellent. I think I actually prefer the lighting in this one. I do like the gaze directly into the camera on your entry, however - so it's a toss up. I'd like to see a close up without quite so heavy eye make up.

I actually prefer this one to the one you just won the ribbon for, but they are both very nice.
