No one wanted to be photographed except my so ugly she's adorable cat, Callie. I love her eyes and tortoise shell coat. She has a flat nose and resembles Oscar the Grouch!

I know folks will argue that a pet portrait isn't a portrait but she is a part of my family and was an excellent model.

Greetings from the critique club!!
Such a pretty Kitty! I love the eyes, they are so clear they are overpowering in a wonderful way. The focus is completely on her eyes and face. The background is not distracting at all. The composition is good, except for the left ear being slighly cut off. The lighting is perfect for accentuating her colors. Very nicely done!

One of the best cat photos that I've seen in awhile anywhere...though, I'm new here.

Good focus on the eyes. Pity it wouldn't smile for you...

Callie was probably the best choice anyway. Except for the tiny tip of her ear missing and the little bits of grass showing at the bottom, she is purrfect. 9

Well, I think Callie did very well. Cute kitty. Hmmm, what is the going catnip rate for cat models these days? (only kidding) :-) I like cats.

Cute picture! I like the subtle background and the framing of the face. The expression tells all! I have 5 myself!! Love the eyes, not easy for me to get them clear like that. Good job!
