Greetings from the Critique Club

I am very partial to the color contrast you achieved in your composition. The subtle lines of your background lead the eye directly into the face of your model and the DOF creates a perfect balance between your primary subject and background.

Your image does not appear washed out in the least on my monitor, the skin tone and delicate blush of the cheeks and the deep blue of her eyes all convey the wistful mood of your photograph in what appear perfect lighting conditions.

After viewing some of your other work with this model there are only two things that I might have done differently: Crop; adjust the crop to a slightly tighter crop at the bottom just at the collar bone and expand the image to right just slightly, and Hair; either had her hair off of her right shoulder (on the left side of the image) or perhaps let her hair hang loosely to further enhance the wistful mood and let it softly frame her face.

You have a beautiful subject to work with in Emma her face is so expressive and she has such lovely natural beauty. I hope we have the opportunity to see more of your work with her. Hope this information is helpful in some way - best regards, Michele.

I feel that you cropped just a little too much, I would have liked to see more of her hair.

This has the makings of a good profile. The eyes are not turned too far away as some do, but the background is rather distracting and it bothers me that you cut the photo off mid way of her cheek. This is a case where seeing an ear or some hair would have been welcome. You feel like you have been left hanging here with something missing. Exposure and light are great. Very natural feeling.

A good portrait... it would benefit (IMO) from a tighter crop from under the chin on up and also with a bit of a different background.

The skin tones seem a bit...reddish (but could be my monitor). Nice composition.

As opposed to all the soft look images sofar this one is natural looking, a little overexposed but still a nice photo

wonderful shot. Did ya try adding a tad more contrast to make her eye a little darker. Might have even been better. just my view.

this image could have done with a bit more contrast....the colors seem a little "washed out"

So nice so see some *natural* skin textures surviving the post process. Well done. 7

There is really nothing to work with here. Your colors are all neutral, there is no shadows, the light is moderate, and the depth and clarity are so-so. The model here is pretty, but expressionless. I hope this comment helps. GL.
