The slight discoloration on the violins end shows how much this girl loves to play this instrument, The perspective allows the you to focus on the age of the instrument and its intricate detail rather than the person playing it, which makes you think of something other than just the subject.

Very nice picture, and interesting too. I like the perspective.

I'm sure your hearing a lot of this but I don't like your choice of focus point. I'm sure you were trying to do something to stand out, but there realty isn't anything about the end of the violin thats makes it stand out.

At first I thought the picture was blurry, until I noticed the sharp focus on the end of the violin. After noticing that, I think it was probably done on purpose and I would congratulate you on the DOF. But... for my own personal taste, I just don't agree with the idea. I would be far more interested in seeing the girls eyes in focus (and not covered by the bow) and then allow the violin to move out of focus due to DOF. I give you points for your creative use of DOF. Just not as much as if I agreed more with the application. Hope that makes sense.

I'm usually a fan of shallow DOF, but in this case i would have liked to have seen the violinist's face in focus.

Good lighting, composition, and DOF.

I like the colors, but I think the person shouldn't be so blurry. The top of the violin is a bit of a limiting focal point.

I like your DOF and soft focus here. Nice focus on the end of the violin. Very eye pleasing shot!

Nice! Very pretty model. Would have like to see her more in focus but considering the challenge I'd say well done.

Interesting DOF. Gives kind of a 3D look. Nice lighting and beautiful musician.
