A corridor in the monastery of the Benedictine order on the Ganagobie plateau South of France. I shot this through a glass that divided the church from the monks' private quarters on a late sunny afternoon. As I couldn't use a polarized filter, I tried editing it by working the saturation and contrast levels to bring out the colours. Minimal cropping was done to get rid of minor shadow on the bottom right because of the glass.

This is a stunning capture. I like the almost fluorescent quality of the lighting that creates the blue cast on the stone floor. I might straighten it just a bit so that the door opening is parallel with the bottom line of the crop. Great leading line effect as well.
