In reflection of my inner mirror,
My veiled emotion can show no fear.
No expression of pity or pride,
It is my discretion how I feel inside.
Peer expectations clutter my way,
Will my resolution bend or sway?
Though life's expeditions might be steep, My thoughts and apprehension I hold in deep.
The thing is - it doesn't look like a human normally looks. It has higher contrast by FAR than the normal human face. It's not "wow, this only has black and or white in it" but "wow, the difference between a face and hair aren't usually that drastic."
The S curve sometimes has little to do with percieved contrast. I see no areas of sharp contrast. Areas of the face appear blowed out, but are tempered by the intermediate surrounding hair. In turn the hair graduates and seems in stark contrast to no conecting areas of the image.
