My 10D mounted piggyback on a Meade 12" LX200 at the Madison Astronomical Society's observatory. This is the setup I use for serious piggyback. The site is about 20 miles south of Madison, WI so it's medium dark. When I want true dark skies, I take my own Celestron 8" out and seek really dark skies.

:D Hey... I'd know that Meade blue anywhere! That looks like an 8"... and from the rust on the screws, I'm guessing it it an older one.

Would love to know! I have a 23 year old 8" Meade, 2080, to be exact. ;)

Nice setup! Can I steal the observatory?! :D
