I thin this would have been a nice pick, try makeing it a little larger.

This is a little too small to examine and the branch(s) in unclear

great shoy but way too small, bigger is brighter and better. this shot is nice, and I want to see more. 640 pix on the long axis is what this deserves.

size of the photo makes it difficult to see the reflected branch but cool idea.

A nice idea though the execution is not as strong as it could be. The rippled pattern takes over the shot and breaks up the reflections of the branches up too much. A good shot for a water challenge, just not this one I'm afraid.

I'd have liked to have seen this larger - I apologize if I'm the hundredth person to have said so.

A good idea but I don't feel it worked. Possibly, different light to pick up more interesting colors and more saturation in the reflection? Also a bigger pic would help to show more of the detail .

Well, by now I'm sure someone has mentioned that you ought to maximize the image size--640 pixels on the longest side. (If you need help with that, there are plenty of folks who will give you ideas if you post the question in the forums....me, included.)

Back to the image: I like photos of reflections. The ripples are a classic addition, but seem to dominate the photo. At this size, it's hard to contribute meaningful comments on your image. But I think you could focus on composition and the "intent" of your subject. If I were to pick on its fitness for the challenge, I would say that you seem to have trees and not "branches" here.

Wishing you success as you begin your DPC journey! --Kadi

I like the ripple effect you captured. I thinks this would look better slightly larger also.

This shot is too small to really see properly.

liked it, wish the main branches had been more visible though

What has this got to do with branches? Besides it's way too smal.
